What homeowners
want to know.
Repairs, new doors, service areas and the next step. Find a straightforward answer before you get in touch.
What kinds of garage doors do you work on?
Lariat focuses on residential garage doors. We handle repairs, spring replacement, opener repair and installation, new doors and maintenance. Tell us about your door and its symptoms so the scope can be confirmed.
How much will my repair cost?
A useful price starts with identifying the problem. Door condition, compatible parts and the work involved all matter. Review the proposed scope and price before approving repairs.
Do you serve my neighborhood?
Our primary focus is north and east San Antonio, Seguin, New Braunfels and San Marcos. We also cover nearby corridor communities and extend toward Austin. Share your ZIP code and service address to confirm coverage and availability.
What if I have a home warranty claim?
Begin with your provider’s claim process. If Lariat is assigned to your visit, follow the scheduling instructions in your assignment notice. The provider determines coverage, fees and repair authorization.
Can you fix a garage door that is off track?
Off-track doors need an on-site assessment of the tracks, rollers, cables, and related parts. Leave the door in place and avoid operating it until it has been inspected.
How much does garage door repair cost?
The scope depends on the problem, parts, and condition of the door. A meaningful price requires identifying the issue first. Ask for the repair scope and price before approving work.
Should both springs be replaced?
If the door has two springs of similar age, it may be sensible to discuss replacing both. The recommendation depends on the condition and configuration of the system.
Can I keep using the opener with a broken spring?
Stop operating it. The opener is designed to move a balanced door, and a broken spring can make the door unsafe to operate.
Do I need a new opener when I replace my garage door?
Not necessarily. Compatibility, condition, safety features, and the requirements of the new door help determine whether the existing opener can stay.
Can a remote problem be repaired?
It may involve batteries, programming, signal interference, or a receiver issue. Share the opener make and model when arranging service so compatibility can be considered.
Can I add windows to a new garage door?
Many door designs offer window options. Discuss the appearance, privacy, and placement you prefer when reviewing products.
Will an insulated door cool my garage?
Insulation can reduce heat transfer through the door, but garage temperature also depends on walls, ventilation, weather seals, sun exposure, and other conditions. It is one part of the overall space.
How often should my door be inspected?
Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and consider how frequently the door is used. New noise, uneven movement, or visible wear is a reason to arrange an assessment sooner.
Does maintenance prevent every breakdown?
No. An inspection can identify visible wear and operating concerns, but it cannot guarantee that a component will not fail later.
